The respiratory and digestive systems are essential to keeping the body alive, but understanding them requires more than memorizing names and locations.

In this course, you will explore the anatomy and physiology of these systems through detailed instruction and cadaver based demonstrations. You will follow the structures from the upper respiratory and digestive pathways through the lungs, stomach, intestines, and accessory organs while developing a clearer understanding of how their structures support their functions.

The course is designed as part of the A&P Course Series, giving you a focused and structured way to study two major body systems without having to complete a broad introductory anatomy course first.

✔ Explore the major respiratory structures and understand how air travels through the respiratory tract.
 
✔ Understand lung anatomy and breathing mechanics, including lung lobes, diaphragm, pleural membranes, ventilation, and lung volumes.
