Workshop FAQs
In-Person
Where is the lab located?
We are located in the Granite Technical Institute building at 2500 S. State St. in South Salt Lake City. Park in the west parking lot and enter the building through the main west entrance portico. The lab is on the 4th floor, room 408.
What should I wear?
Clothes that you will be comfortable in for 3 hours of learning, much of which will be standing around different work stations. The lab is outfitted with all necessary equipment, protocols, and security to ensure the safety of students. This includes emergency eye wash stations, fume hoods to ensure proper ventilation, hygiene stations, and protective gear.
Does it smell weird in the lab?
While it does not smell like formaldehyde or decomposition, there is a slight odor from the cleaning products and from the preservation agent we spray the cadavers with. The odor is not overwhelming, but there is a slight scent that most people are not aware of after 2 to 3 minutes in the lab.
What if I am uneasy about being near cadavers?
This is an understandable concern, as not everybody is comfortable being in the cadaver lab. However, 99% of students who expressed concerns find that it is much more tolerable than imagined and end up having a great experience. For the other 1%, there are areas outside the lab you can retreat to if the experience is a little too intense.

Live Stream
How do I access the Live-Stream?
After registration, you will receive a confirmation email and a separate email containing your unique live stream access link. This is the only link used to enter the live workshop.
You can click the link directly or paste it into your browser when the live stream begins. We recommend saving it somewhere easily accessible so you can quickly find it when needed.Â
We will also send reminder emails 1 day before the workshop and again 15 minutes before it starts, both including your access link for easy entry.Â
Please note: your IOHA Library is separate and is only used for your replay and certificate access after the workshop. It is not used to enter the live stream.Â
If you don’t see your access email, please check your inbox and spam/junk folder. If you still cannot find it, please contact us at [email protected] and we will be happy to assist you.
Will there be live Q&A?
Yes! There will be an opportunity for live Q&A during the workshop, where participants can submit questions through the chat.
Because the live-streaming platform allows for a maximum 3-hour broadcast, the time available for interactive Q&A may be limited. Questions from those attending the workshop in person will take priority, and our team will do their best to select and share additional questions from the live-stream audience when time allows.
What can I do with the printable certificate?
Your Certificate of Completion is a great way to document your participation in the workshop. Many attendees use it for personal records, professional portfolios, continuing education documentation, or to demonstrate additional training in anatomy and bodywork-related fields.
Please note that acceptance of certificates may vary depending on your institution, employer, or licensing board.
