IOHA Muscular and Cardiovascular Systems 2-Hour In-Person Workshop

Discover the structural reality of one of the body's most essential systems in a single, focused 2-hour in-lab, live-stream anatomy workshop.


Using cadaveric specimens, you'll explore the cervical, thoracic, and abdominal body walls, along with the extensor muscle groups, gaining evidence based insights that directly apply to your practice, studies, or personal understanding of the human body.

Unlike our 3 hour Anatomy Lab Workshop, which provides a broad overview of multiple regions and systems of the body, this workshop is intentionally designed to focus on the musculoskeletal anatomy of the body wall, offering a deeper and more focused cadaver based learning experience.


This workshop is designed for a broad audience, from movement and bodywork professionals to nursing and pre-med students, health and wellness practitioners, and anyone with a genuine curiosity about the human body.

✔ The layered anatomy of the cervical body wall, including the muscles, fascia, and supporting structures involved in head and neck movement, posture, and stability
 
✔ The structure of the thoracic body wall, including the muscles, ribs, and connective tissues that support breathing, trunk stability, and protection of the thoracic organs
 
✔ The anatomy of the abdominal body wall, including the muscle layers that provide core stability, protect the abdominal organs, and assist with breathing and movement
 
✔ The anatomy of the extensor muscle groups, including their attachments, actions, and role in posture, spinal and limb extension, and coordinated movement
 
✔ How the muscles, fascia, and connective tissues of the body wall work together to provide stability, transmit force, protect internal structures, and support functional movement
 
✔ Hands-on anatomy using real cadaver specimens, guided by an expert instructor
